Nexus Theatre

Newgate's THEATRE management system was originally developed to replace the paper theatre log book that is used to record procedural activity and persons present during an operation. In association with the Theatre User Group Newgate has increased the functionality of the THEATRE product to include interfaces with other products, complex pathways for procedures that cover both surgery and Day Procedure activity and many other changes.

 

In 2007, Newgate won the contract to provide our THEATRE product as an integrated booking and theatre management solution to the whole of Northern Ireland. This solution now covers all trusts within the Region and has been live across all sites now for over 6 months.

The last weekend in April 2009 saw the implementation of a large number of custom changes and enhancements to the Irish solution that have helped to enhance the solution within the region.

Requirements

It is difficult for Newgate to advise on specific specification requirements due to the changing nature of developments and of customer builds. As a result the following represents an idea of the basic needs of the system. We would be happy to discuss deployments using a wide range of technology.
