The Newgate MOBIUS solution represents a Sterile Services Department floor management system that can assist in the end to end traceability of trays and instruments within your site. Over recent years the Mobius product has been updated to incorporate changes from the MOBIUS user group and from legislative changes.

 

By using PCs and handheld "mini-computers" staff can monitor and update the progress of trays and instruments through the department. Newgate can provide a range of hardware to meet the processing needs and expected workflow of your department.

 

The Data Flow Process (Below right) identifies the points of activity where MOBIUS can be used to record activity and provide reports to SSD management.

 

MOBIUS has a dedicated User Group run by the users for the users. Meetings are held bi-annually.

Requirements

It is difficult for Newgate to advise on specific specification requirements due to the changing nature of developments and of customer builds.
