Newgate Technology is a privately owned software company based in Inverkeithing in Fife, Scotland. Operating out of purpose built premises that incorporate offices and commissioning space.

Since 1988 we have offered data collection solutions to Healthcare and Commercial customers across the UK and Ireland. 2010 has presented Newgate with an opportunity to sell our "off the shelf" products to New Zealand.

Working with our customers we are able to offer a range of solutions from independent data collection systems to fully integrated management systems that employ modern WiFi handheld mini-computers to collect data.

Barcode technology has always been at the heart of our solutions. Traditionally working with linear barcodes and more recently with introduction of 2D barcodes we have been able to increase the volumes of data available within our solutions. The introduction of GS1 and the format and requirements drive our developemnts

Bespoke Development

Newgate has a range of solutions and our dedicated team of developers would be happy to work with you to create a solution that meets your specific needs.

Our staff will be able to assist you through all stages of Project Management of your development. From initial discussions through business case and the development of a fully formed product specification. To the acceptance of the solution and deployment to a live environment, we are able to help you.

Healthcare

One of the key areas that we can offer solutions for is healthcare. By using the Nexus patient management system with Nexus Theatre and combined with Mobius, our sterile services management software. Newgate is able to provide an end to end solution for surgical activity and surgical instrument Track and Trace for sites.
